  • Our program serves Shelby, County, KY residents ONLY.
  • CatSnip clinics are for Outdoor Cats only, NO indoor permitted.
  • All cats will come to the clinic in OUR live catch release traps only, that WE issue to you. You cannot bring cats in your own traps, or carriers or wire cages. If you come to the clinic in any cage other than what we issue out, you will be turned away. The other cages present trip hazards and are very dangerous to sedate a cat safely. Our liability insurance requires this standard of operation in order to have coverage.
  • All cats will be ear tipped, this is done while the cat is under sedation. No exceptions.
  •  No cat(s) can come to the clinic in trunks of cars or open bed pickup trucks.
  • No one will enter the building under any circumstances, this is for your safety and our liability. The building we utilize is not our own so we must protect the Humane Society as well as CatSnip.
  • All colony caretakers/clients/registrants will conduct all business outside of the building. Our volunteers will come to you and pick up necessary paperwork, traps and monetary donations via cash, cc or check. You will call us at 502-220-0271 when you arrive at trap loan out, cat registration, post surgery pickup and trap return and we will come to you.
  • All patrons will be charged $35 per cat. For this fee each cat is receiving: Spay/Neuter, FVRCP/Distemper Vaccine, Rabies Vaccine (age appropriate), Flea Treatment, 3 Anti Pain Medications, Ear Cleaning and TX, Antibiotic Shot, Dissolvable Suture (if female), ear tip and tattoo. Our cost per cat is $75.00 so we fundraise to keep our cost affordable to YOU! (IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD $35 PER CAT PLEASE SELECT THE OPTION APPLICABLE TO YOU ON THE SCHEDULING FORM). NO ONE IS TURNED AWAY DUE TO THEIR INABILITY TO PAY FOR SERVICES.
  • We will be limiting the number of cats that come to each clinic. If space is limited due to too many people registering, each registrant will only be allowed up to a maximum of 5 traps, depending on how many we have registered.
  • If you need assistance with trapping, please comment on the form below. We are very limited with trappers and may not be able to assist.
  • For other low cost spay/neuter options visit our page: Spay Neuter Resources
