Mission Statement
Operation CatSnip is a not-for-profit organization whose primary purpose is to effectively and safely decrease the population of feral colonies, strays and barn cats through a humane, convenient, self-sustaining trap-neuter-return-management (TNRM) program in central Kentucky. The secondary purpose is, through education and outreach, to inform the public of the benefits of managing colonies, as opposed to removal and euthanasia. |

A 5K Run/Walk benefiting Operation CatSnip
Operation CatSnip will be hosting its first annual 5K Run/Walk on Sat., Oct. 2, 2010, at the Shelbyville/Shelby Co. Park. Pre-registration will be $20/person and includes a t-shirt (ends Sept. 15, 2010). After Sept. 15, registration will be $25/person and t-shirt is not guaranteed.
Registration will begin at 7 A.M. on Oct. 2. The race will start at 8 A.M.
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place runners in 5 age categories.
